Contact Tom by e-mail.

Tom DeVries has worked at Eerdmans since 2001, first in the warehouse and eventually in his current position. Having grown up on the mission field in the Philippines and Guam, he is passionate about everything international, and the years he spent working alongside his parents at Faith Bookstore in Guam gave him an early interest in the international book business. To keep up with the latest news, Tom has a habit of trying to read between five and ten international newspapers every day.

Jerry Arends

Field Sales Manager

Contact Jerry by e-mail.

Jerry Arends is a 20-year veteran of the Eerdmans sales department. Prior to his time at Eerdmans, he attended seminary, taught in a pastor’s training institute in Nigeria for five years, and managed the Calvin Seminary Bookstore. He enjoys getting outdoors whenever he can — hiking and biking in the mountains of north Georgia and North Carolina near his Atlanta home — and (what else?) reading, especially history books that explore the clash of world cultures and clever mysteries featuring thoroughly jaded detectives.

A lover of many things crafty (she likes scrapbooking, drawing, making cloth and paper flowers, pottery, jewelry making, and even creating handmade paper), Jessica also enjoys traveling, meeting new people, and learning about different cultures.
