  • When you visit Your Account, you will have the opportunity to view and change many of the features of your personalized account with eerdmans.com.
  • Your privacy will be protected.
Shopping Cart
  • Browse our subject category lists or search for a specific book by title or author.
  • Once you've found a book you want to buy, click to add the book to your shopping cart.
  • If you want to shop for more books, click to return to the home page. Your shopping cart will hold the books until you are ready to check out. However, on a periodic basis unused or abandoned shopping carts will be deleted from eerdmans.com.
  • When you are done shopping, click to begin the checkout process.
Payment Options
  • Safe Shopping Guarantee
  • We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. If you pay with a credit card, we offer free ground shipping (U.S. only).
  • If you are a professor, ministry professional, bookstore, or library, you can add the charges to your Eerdmans account by selecting the account payment option (you will be asked to enter your account number later). If you do not know your account number, we can look it up for you. If you do not have an existing Eerdmans account, you can establish one at the time of your first order. Bookstores and churches must first complete a credit application before the order will be processed.
Shipping Back-Orders
  • If a book is not in stock at the time you place your order, we will back-order and ship it as soon as it becomes available. Back-orders are billed at the rate in effect at the time of shipping.
International Orders
  • Some books featured on eerdmans.com may not be available from Eerdmans in all parts of the world. If you order a book for which we do not hold rights in your country, you will be notified in your e-mail invoice (the second and final e-mail you receive after placing an order on eerdmans.com).

    Can I pay for my order using my Eerdmans account?
    If you are a bookstore, library, or church and have previously been granted a line of credit through Wm. B. Eerdmans Publishing Co., you can add the charges to your Eerdmans account by selecting the house account payment option when ordering online. If you do not have an existing Eerdmans account, you can establish one at the time of your first order. Please note that a credit application must be returned before the order will be completed.

    Why is my eerdmans.com order reference number so long?
    This number is what is called a Globally Unique Identifier (GUID). It is the Internet standard for unique identification numbers. The eerdmans.com database server generates this number whenever a new shopping cart is created. This guarantees that each shopping cart can be uniquely identified.

    How long will books remain in my shopping cart?
    Items are not removed from your shopping cart on a regular basis. However, unused or abandoned shopping carts will be deleted from eerdmans.com periodically.

    How do I change or cancel an order I placed on eerdmans.com?
    If you decide to change or cancel your eerdmans.com order after you've submitted it, please call our customer service department at 1-800-253-7521 or 616-459-4591 or e-mail at customerservice@eerdmans.com for assistance.

    The book I ordered was placed on back-order, when will it be shipped?
    To find out when a book will be shipped, please check the book page for the book you ordered. On the line below the price, there should be an expected ship date. If you have any further questions about your order, please contact customerservice@eerdmans.com
