Writers
Eerdmans Books for Young Readers will consider only exclusive submissions that are clearly marked as such on the outside of the envelope (include a self-addressed stamped envelope for reply only) or submissions from authors with whom we already have a working relationship. We do not accept simultaneous submissions, and those sent will no longer be acknowledged or returned even if a SASE has been enclosed.

Please understand that our reply timeline for exclusive submissions is generally 3 months. Please do not call or e-mail to inquire about the status of your manuscript. We regret that due to the volume of material we receive, we cannot comment on manuscripts we are unable to accept.
