Bernard Cottret

The founding chairman of the Department of Humanities at Versailles-Saint-Quentin University in France. He is the author of several books about European religious and political history, including The Huguenots in England: Immigration and Settlement, 1550–1700 (Cambridge) and Bolingbroke's Political Writings: The Conservative Enlightenment (St. Martin's). His biography Cromwell was honored with the Monseigneur Marcel Silver Medal by the Acadèmie Française.
