Peter L. Berger

Peter L. Berger (1929–2017) was professor emeritus of sociology, religion, and theology and founder of the Institute on Culture, Religion, and World Affairs at Boston University. His many books include The Social Construction of Reality, The Desecularization of the World, Redeeming Laughter, In Praise of Doubt, and The Many Altars of Modernity.
